Stichting IBO is working towards the Islamic Cemetery Rotterdam and is responsible for processing personal data through this website. For privacy questions, you can email info@spior.nl or write via SPIOR, Karl Weisbardstraat 181–201, 3015 GM Rotterdam.
For contact messages, we process your name, email address, telephone number, subject and message. For volunteer registrations, we process your name, email address and any information you provide about your interest and availability. Forms and technical systems may also record the time, IP address and browser information. Do not share medical data, identity documents or other sensitive information in free-text fields.
We use your data to answer your question, contact you about your volunteer registration and follow up on our communications. Technical data helps operate the website, resolve errors and prevent misuse. Completing a form does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.
Answering contact requests and securely managing the website is based on Stichting IBO’s legitimate interest in being accessible and organising the initiative. If contact leads to volunteering arrangements, we process the necessary data to prepare and implement those arrangements. Where consent is required, we request it separately. You can withdraw consent at any time.
We retain personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. For contact messages, this depends on handling the request and any follow-up questions. For volunteer registrations, it depends on the introduction, registration and any cooperation. Where a statutory retention obligation applies, we retain the relevant data for that mandatory period. You can email info@spior.nl to ask which data is still held and request deletion.
Contact and volunteer forms are stored in WordPress and forwarded by email to info@spior.nl. Access should be limited to people who need to handle your message or registration. We use WP.one for hosting and Microsoft 365 for sending email. Donations are processed through the website’s payment facility, with Mollie as payment provider. Payment service providers receive the data required to carry out the payment. Please also consult their own privacy information.
The website may use technical cookies needed for its operation, for example for administrator logins. Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts; your browser connects to Google and shares technical data such as your IP address. The news page contains embedded videos from IBO’s YouTube channel. The players load through youtube-nocookie.com. Loading and playing videos may share technical data, such as your IP address, with YouTube/Google. That service’s privacy and cookie terms also apply. When you visit external websites, those services’ privacy and cookie terms apply. This statement does not confirm that all supplier data is processed exclusively within the European Economic Area.
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. Depending on the circumstances, you may also object, request restricted processing or ask for data portability. Send your request to info@spior.nl. We may carefully verify your identity to avoid sharing data with the wrong person. Do not send an unsolicited copy of your identity document. If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
